WTF is MUD\WTR?
MUD\WTR was dreamt up to reduce my coffee dependence. Coffee is a stimulant, slingshotting my energy levels, I wanted a more balanced approach to boosting focus and wakefulness. So, I blended masala chai with a hall of fame ingredient list: Lion’s mane for focus, chaga and reishi to support a healthy immune system, cordyceps to promote natural energy, turmeric and cinnamon for their antioxidants, and cacao for mood and energy. It’s 100% organic and there’s zero sugar and no sweeteners added. With a fraction of the caffeine in a cup of coffee those jitters are gone and you are left with calm, alert, and sharp but still able to fall asleep at night. The result: you, but superhuman.

How do I make it?
Take a tablespoon of MUD\WTR and drop it into your favorite mug. Pour in some hot water like you're making matcha and from here on out it’s your world, we're just living in it. Some go wild and add some honey and cbd, others add our coconut and MCT creamer, and some keep it OG and drink it straight up. All you have to do next is mix it up. Where are the mushrooms grown?
Where many source their mushrooms from China, we decided to stick a little closer to home. All of our mushrooms are 100% organically grown in California on gluten-free oats, under clean air, and selected for their unique capacity to support mental AND physical functions.
How much caffeine?
:rise Cacao contains a fraction of the caffeine found in coffee. On average, coffee contains 90-100mg of caffeine. That can vary up to +/-30mg, depending on the beans and the roasting method, according to the FDA. Meanwhile, :rise Cacao has around 35mg of caffeine per serving.
Can I drink while pregnant or nursing?
Though our ingredients are all associated with profound health benefits, we suggest consulting with your physician before making any changes to your diet during pregnancy or nursing.
How is it Whole30 with oats on the label?
You’re correct that oats and products made with oats are eliminated during Whole30. Whole30 HQ has made an exception to that rule for MUD\WTR as we use organic oats that are used as material to culture the mushroom blend. Because oats are not present in significant amounts in the final product, Whole30 determined MUD\WTR is still Whole30 Approved and compatible during the program.

I decided to try MUD\WTR at the beginning of the year, not so much because I think coffee is bad for me, but because I laced it with too much refined sugar, which is definitely not good for me. I'm also a fan of getting any benefits from mushrooms in a regular way. I make a latte with the coconut creamer and I top it with steamed half & half, plus nutmeg (I'm a Brit). This feels indulgent, tastes great to me, and is something I crave every single morning. So much so that I subscribed to the annual delivery. My energy and focus is great and I don't feel bad at all occasionally having a cup of coffee because that's rare. I'm going to try a nighttime drink next. BTW, whoever wrote the "Your new morning ritual" handbook that came with it is absolutely brilliant. It's smart, witty, informative, and actually made me laugh out loud. It also made me think, especially the Mud Culture section. I run a business and my job is to take care of my crew so that they look forward to coming to work (play), feel supported, and autonomous. At MUD\WTR you sprint for two weeks and then have one week of recovery to reflect - as a business model. This was such validation that to slow down and ruminate when we can is in the long run, more effective than constantly running, especially if the reason is because we (think) we should always be 'busy'. I was skeptical at first so I started off with a 30 day can. I had issues with delivery so I contacted customer service via email. At first I was like, no phone number to talk to a real human? Why is that? That only raised my skepticism the more until my concern was swiftly addressed by a customer service representative by name Maeryl. I tried the product and I loved it!
I decided to sign up for annual plan, got into trouble with delivery to Canada as FedEx wanted me to hire a Broker before my delivery could be cleared. Once again, I reached out to Maeryl (MUD customer service) and she was excellent as usual. I got new products shipped to me in 5days via DHL with no issues. Today, I am a happy customer. Thank you for such a wholesome drink. I take it before I step out for my busy shift as a Registered Nurse. I take MUD Rest before bed and I snooze like a baby. I wake up with a restful body and a clear mind ready to face the day like a Champion. MUD's got my back,No more jitters. Love it!
