Welcome to “Astrology with Attitude,” where getting guidance from the universe means getting real with yourself.
Pro tip: Horoscopes are meant to be read for your rising sign, not your sun sign. Yes, you’ve been lied to! Don’t know what your rising sign is? Google it. My advice is this: use astrology responsibly, or don’t use it at all. Stop making excuses for your BS and take those haughty, self-made shaman vibes elsewhere.
Can you hear that? That’s the voice of your future self, begging you to step away from the computer screen. Your community, your connection to nature, and your spiritual practice are all asking to be prioritized. In order to fully embody your values, you’ll need to ditch your comfort zone. Take off your shoes, feel the earth beneath your feet, and scream into a canyon as loud as you can. It’s time to dream big, baby! Remember, growth occurs somewhere between accepting where you are now and refusing to stay there.
Are you sacrificing your authenticity in exchange for your career or public persona? If so, it’s not cute. It’s time to grab the bull by its horns, prioritize what’s actually important to you, and create a life that you’re proud of. Confused about which direction to head? Figure out who and what you admire, and follow that like a moth to a flame. Stop making it more complicated than it needs to be. Just do something that makes you feel like you’re a part of something, and the rest will fall into place. No excuses this time.
It’s time to say no to rules, structure, and boundaries and yes to adventure, dreaming, and knocking down walls. It might feel tempting to keep your feet on the ground but now is simply not the time. This spring, reality won’t hold a candle to magic and embracing the unknown. Whether it’s another country, a tarot deck or the world you enter after falling asleep, go there and go there hard. We all know you’re really good at the whole intellectual, logical thing, but give it a rest, OK? Stop overanalyzing and overthinking, and just accept the invitation to smell, taste, and feel your way down the yellow brick road of your dreams.
Spoiler alert: You’re never going to be able to confront your shadow without the mirror of community. Not only that, but what’s the point of fixing yourself if you don’t use what you’ve learned to fix the world? It’s time to stop hiding. Come out and play with us! Yes, things might get messy, and, yes, you may be terrified of the vulnerability, but messiness is your birthright. Remember, your inner shadow will continually materialize as an outer experience until you’re ready to face yourself. Drop the impenetrable façade—it doesn’t suit you.
I know, I know, you’re the king of the jungle, but you can’t be a successful leader without learning how to work well with others. Where might you need to take a step back? Where might you need to take charge? If the answer isn’t clear, meditate on that shit. This spring is all about leaning in, even when leaning in means letting someone else prove you wrong. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility. It’s time to put your heart out on the line, honor your weaknesses and take pride only in your ability to remain humble.
Listen, you’re gonna need to put down the vacuum and leave the to-do list at home. The big, beautiful world, full of chaos and adventure, is calling your name. Don’t worry, you can get back to attending to the mundane in a bit, but right now, your energy may be better spent in the realm of aggressive hugs, skinny dipping, and mud-wrestling. Now is the time to accept the gifts that you, of all people, so desperately deserve. Ain’t nobody got time for your perfectionism and self-deprecation, you have a whole life to live! What are you waiting for?
Not gonna lie, things may need to get worse before they get better. I know it may seem counterintuitive, but in order to experience the highest octave of pleasure and joy, you must first become friends with the demons and dragons of your own personal underworld. Are there routines you need to re-evaluate? Maybe some harmful patterns or stories that are controlling your day-to-day? It’s time to step things up and be brutally honest with yourself. Seek some professional support if you need it. And no, infographics from Instagram therapists don’t count.
Hoping to find or keep the relationship of your dreams? Look no further than your early childhood trauma! Security, trust, and alignment in relationships cannot be sourced externally, but instead, must be cultivated internally. Not only that, but you can’t successfully attract what you want unless you truly believe you deserve it. Remember to do the work, but don’t take yourself too seriously. It’s always OK to take a break from the intensity and dance, paint, or sing your way toward clarity.
Routines and chores may not be your cup of tea, but it’s time to get serious, grab a pen and paper, and get organized. Just because you want to do all the things, doesn’t mean you can. Take one step at a time and don’t let the overwhelm steer you off course. The first step isn’t always sexy, but plans can’t make themselves and dreams don’t come true unless you work at them. Let your inspiration come from the well-kept secrets of your innermost desires. Write them all down, accentuate them with doodles and multi-colored ink, and watch your future leap up from the page. The sky’s the limit.
Repeat after me: now is not the time for the status quo. Security and structure? Ditch ’em! Our capitalist society teaches us that we don’t hold any value unless we maintain a certain level of productivity and output. Thing is, that’s never going to change until we do. It’s time to prioritize bubble baths, laughing until your face hurts, and eating your favorite comfort foods. Who said the revolution has to be serious? Grab a megaphone, your favorite pair of polka-dot leggings, and lead your community of fellow weirdos into the utopian future of your dreams! If not you, who? And if not now, when?
Oh, baby! The times they are a-changin’! If you’re feeling as if the ground is shifting beneath you, well, that’s because it is. From your identity to your community and beyond, it’s time to buckle up and embrace earthquake season. You have two options: go with the flow, or risk the rug being pulled out from under you. Either way, you’re going to have to leave the island in search of a new one. It’s your choice whether you want to leave on your own accord or be pushed into the waves when you least expect it.
What is it that you are most afraid to say? What’s holding you back from taking up space? This is no time for martyrdom or self-sacrifice. And stop distracting yourself from your own life by being your friends’ therapist all the time. You’ve spent enough energy listening and observing. Now’s the time to share all that you’ve learned. Don’t worry about stumbling or forgetting your lines. It’s totally OK if you don’t have it all figured out yet. What’s not OK is your unwillingness to try.
