Five tips to improve your productivity and focus

We're all about helping you find healthy habits to create healthy minds, which means we care about your focus. We know how hard it can be to stay on task, especially when your brain feels like a pile of mush. So, we've put together five tips that will help you get your sh*t together and crush your goals.

Tip #1: Take a walk

Let's start with the easiest tip: take a walk. This doesn't mean aimlessly strolling around the block while scrolling through Instagram. Get outside, breathe in the fresh air, and take a few minutes to clear your mind. If you're feeling stuck, walking is a great way to get your creativity flowing again. Plus, you might even get some steps in and burn off that muffin top.

Tip #2: Meditate

Now, we know what you're thinking—"I can't meditate. I have too much going on in my head!" But hear us out. Meditation doesn't have to be some hippie-dippie practice that requires chanting and incense. It can be as simple as taking a few deep breaths and focusing on the present moment. There are plenty of free apps out there if you want some guidance. And if all else fails, just sit in silence and pretend you're a wise monk. It's a great excuse to ignore your boss's emails for a few minutes.

Tip #3: Exercise

We're not saying you need to become a gym rat, but getting your heart rate up is a great way to improve your focus and productivity. Even just 15 minutes of exercise can make a big difference. And don't worry if you don't have access to fancy equipment. You can do jumping jacks or yoga in your living room. If you're feeling really adventurous, turn on your favorite music and move your body. Just be prepared to feel like a sweaty, uncoordinated mess.

Tip #4: Cut down on caffeine

We know this one hurts. But trust us, too much caffeine can actually hinder your productivity.
