Ginger, Carrot + Mud Smoothie

We nearly called this one Orange is the New Mud, but Netflix threatened us with a cease-and-desist. Regardless, Chef Gabe’s latest mud smoothie is sharp, sweet, refreshing and as bright as the midday sun. It’s an easy one to throw together, so you’ve got no excuse to skip past this one.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup thinly sliced carrot rounds
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • ½ tsp grated turmeric
  • 1 tbsp MUD\WTR’s :rise blend
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup coconut milk 
  • 1 large apple, chopped into cubes
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple 
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

 

Preparation

  1. Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender.
  2. Push that button.
  3. For the next 30 seconds, imagine yourself with carrot-powered night vision.
  4. Now forget that, it's an urban myth.
  5. Serve up and enjoy.
