According to The National Weather Report we just made up, this Saturday is looking like the perfect morning to treat yourself with some French Toast. We all have fond memories of those Saturday mornings eating French Toast and watching cartoons. But now that we have grown up from cartoons to podcasts, turn on your favorite podcast (or checkout ours) and try these nostalgic but healthier Mud French Toast For one. And if you want to surprise your partner, double the recipe :)

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp of MUD\WTR
  • ½ tsp of nutmeg
  • ½ tsp of cinnamon 
  • 1 cup egg whites
  • 2 slices of bread
  • optional toppings: bananas, honey, chia seeds

Directions

  1. Mix mud, nutmeg, cinnamon, and egg whites on a deep plate
  2. Dip your bread in mixture. Coat both sides
  3. Pan fry until cooked through
  4. Top with bananas, honey, chia, or anything else your heart desires
