Turmeric Summer Smoothie

If you’re lost in daydreams about a beautiful a tropical paradise, where sun-kissed beaches are dotted with vibrant palm trees that sway to a rhythmic breeze … This one’s for you. Sip on this refreshing summer smoothie and pretend you’re feeling the gentle caress of crystal-clear turquoise waters against your skin. Stick a tiny umbrella on top and you’re basically there.

Ingredients: 

  • ½ cup frozen banana 
  • ½ cup frozen mango
  • 1 date
  • ½ an avocado
  • 2 tbsp yogurt/yogurt alternative
  • ⅓ cup mango or orange juice
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 tbsp MUD\WTR’s :balance Turmeric blend
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup chia seeds
  • ⅓ cup milk of choice


Directions:

  1. Add chia seeds, milk and frozen blueberries to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the chia seed mixture into the bottom of a glass.
  3. Layer 1 tsbp of yogurt over the chia seed mixture.
  4. Add the banana, mango, date, avocado, remaining yogurt, mango/orange juice, water and :balance Turmeric to a blender and blend until smooth.
  5. Pour the smoothie mixture on top of the chia seeds and yogurt layers.
  6. Enjoy your summer smoothie!
