Antioxidant Blueberry Mud Smoothie
We once knew a guy who would party all night long, get zero sleep and have barely any routine to his days, but as long as he scoffed a bowl of blueberries at 9 a.m. on the dot, he considered himself a healthy and balanced human person. It’s no way to live, but at least he got those antioxidants.
Why is this important? It’s not. But blueberries really do something to a person.
Chef Gabe’s Antioxidant Blueberry Mud Smoothie is a sweet, but balanced way to start your day. With blueberries, banana, almond butter and a spoonful of :rise thrown in for good measure, this one’s a breeze to put together. Throw everything in the blender and blend, blend, baby.
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp MUD\WTR’s :rise blend
- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp flax seeds
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. You know what to do.
