We once knew a guy who would party all night long, get zero sleep and have barely any routine to his days, but as long as he scarfed down a bowl of blueberries at 9 a.m. on the dot, he considered himself a healthy and balanced human person. It’s no way to live, but at least he got those antioxidants.

Why is this important? It’s not. But blueberries really do something to a person.

Chef Gabe’s Antioxidant Blueberry MUD\WTR Smoothie is a sweet but balanced way to start your day. With blueberries, banana, almond butter and a spoonful of :rise Cacao thrown in for good measure, this one’s a breeze to put together. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp MUD\WTR’s :rise Cacao blend
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp flax seeds
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

 

Preparation

  1. Throw everything in the blender and blend, blend, baby.
  2. Enjoy!
