Spiced Vanilla and Mud Almond Milk

You may have taken down your holiday decorations but with a surprise hail storm hitting Southern California recently, it looks like winter is finally here for us Californians. Which means you still need something warm in your mug. Eggnog is no longer in the fridge so we grabbed what we had left over from the holiday's and made Spiced Vanilla and Mud Almond Milk. Let us know what you think! 


  • 1 ¼ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of nutmeg 
  • 1 tablespoon of mud


  1. Pour milk into a small saucepan and add the cinnamon stick
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium head
  3. reduce to low and let simmer until milk is infused with cinnamon (~10 mins)
  4. Remove from heat and pour milk into a mug and remove cinnamon stick
  5. Add in syrup, vanilla extract, and mud and whisk until combined
  6.  Sprinkle with nutmeg and enjoy :)
