This sweet and spicy treat synchronizes harmoniously just like yin and yang. We combine some grounding hot honey with a few sweet ingredients and MUD\WTR's :rise Cacao blend for a little more pep to your day. 

Yield:

16 fl. oz.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp/6 grams MUD\WTR's :rise Cacao blend
  • 1 tbsp/6 grams MUD\WTR's :creamer
  • 1 tbsp/5 grams cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp/20 grams hot honey
  • .5 tbsp/5 grams maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup/120 grams hot water
  • 1/2 cups/106 grams cashew milk
  • Pinch of Cayenne pepper (ground)
  • Pinch of Himalayan Salt

Directions:

  1. Combine :rise Cacao, :creamer, cacao powder, hot honey, maple syrup, salt and cayenne pepper with hot water. (See below for hot honey recipe).
  2. Mix thoroughly with your MUD\WTR Whip and let steep for two minutes.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Fill a glass halfway with ice.
  5. Combine :rise Cacao mixture with milk in a shaker.
  6. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
  7. Pour mixture (holding back ice) into your glass with ice.
  8. Sip and enjoy!

Hot Honey

There are plenty of options to purchase hot honey in your grocery store but if you would like to make some of your own, we've got you covered with this recipe.

Yield:

1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup honey (we recommend local)
  • 1 tbsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Directions:

  1. Combine honey and chili flakes in a saucepan.
  2. Heat on medium/low until you see small bubbles.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in vinegar.
  5. Let infuse for 10 minutes.
  6. Strain honey into a jar.
