How to make the perfect matcha blend

Drop a spoonful of :rise Matcha.

A tablespoon or 6g is good.

Pour 6-12 oz. of hot milk or water.

80% of customers use creamer or milk, 25% add sweetener too.

Get frothing. Get frothing real good.

Put to the bottom, tilt to the side,
then turn on.

Does :rise Matcha contain caffeine?

Yes, around 55 mg per serving. The caffeine is tempered with L-theanine, which studies show synergizes with the caffeine to promote natural brain function, more so than caffeine alone.

Is :rise Matcha keto-friendly?

There is no standard keto diet, so it’s up to you to decide. In general, the 3 g carbs in each serving is a small amount, and most keto diets will allow for a mug of :rise Matcha to ease you into the day.

Does :matcha contain gluten?

Nope, :rise Matcha is GFCO-certified gluten-free!

Does :rise Matcha contain any sugar alcohols, artificial sweeteners, or added sugar?

Nope.

What does :rise Matcha taste like?

Matcha has a complex, nutty flavor, with hints of sweetness and an earthy undertone. Our :rise Matcha blend is further augmented by the cinnamon, turmeric and warming spices in the chai. If you're already familiar with matcha, we think you'll enjoy our muddy spin on it. But if you're more familiar with a fancy matcha latte, you'll want to add a little :creamer and :sweetener to start.

What contributes to the carbs and fiber? Usually tea doesn't contain these macros.

The majority of the carbs come from the mushrooms, which most teas do not contain.

    Matcha that tastes good

    I've always liked matcha but have had an ambivalent relationship with the taste - unsweetened is a bit of an acquired taste and sweeten is too much of a guilt trip. The MUD/WTR Matcha offers a wonderful taste, that is not bitter nor leaves an aftertaste, while packing negligible sugar calories. Love it!

    Best matcha latte I’ve ever had!

    This is my favorite Mud product already — super smooth, pairs really well with almond milk and Mud sweetener. Bit more of a caffeine kick but no jitters at all. Will def reorder!

    My favorite MUD yet!

    I have long wished my local coffee shops would get a sugar-free (or at least LOW sugar) version of their Matcha-Chai beverages. I absolutely love Match-Chai, and have asked a couple shops about it, to no avail. But NOW I have my own delicious matcha-chai at home, and it has quickly become my favorite beverage from MUD/WTR. I try to switch it up between :rise and :rise Chai, and often have both throughout the day. The :rise helped me drop my coffee addiction, and the :rise matcha is just a happy bonus to add to the mix. Thank you for adding this amazing option to your lineup.

    Chai spiced matcha, best of both worlds

    This is my new afternoon daily ritual. It froths up nicely with the coconut milk powder and gives just the right amount of energy. It’s not too bitter either. I think I prefer this to the original!

    Just like Japan

    After living in Japan for several years, I was hard-pressed to find a good Matcha blend (without traveling a few thousand miles back to the mother country.) Matcha MUD tastes good, goes down smoothly, and happens to be good for you. Thumbs up.
